Morning Walk

Jet lag has its advantages. We wake up without an alarm, if you don't count the cows, birds or the Hindu temple speaker system. The canteen provides a delicious "bun with egg" for less than $0.25 and we only have to walk 2 minutes to work. That leaves us plenty of time to explore the neighborhood. We took advantage this morning.

I've never seen rice plants before, so that was awesome. The view of the rice field (paddy? Is that how you spell it?) with the mountains in the background is beautiful! Praying for you both!
So fun to see! Keep the pictures coming! Miss you!
You kids don't know me but I attended Arlington SDA Church when your dad was youth pastor there. We have been friends of Ted & Mary Vye for many years. She sent me this post.
We go on building trips every year. I enjoyed your pics and comments. I'm surprised to see how similar Nepal is to the countries (primarily Lat. Amer.)we have visited. Also reminded us a lot of the rural parts of Japan we visited last year. I'm forwarding this to Glenn Anderson the dentist on our trips. The mouths look the same the world over.
Good luck in your venture.
